My client is a mid-sized landlord in Singapore, with a portfolio that includes various commercial ventures, such as shopping malls and recreational properties. The company also offers venue management and event services.

Job Description

  • Assist the Leasing Manager with retail planning, including the review and optimization of trade and tenant mix.
  • Identify and secure prospective tenants that align with the mall's desired tenant mix through proactive outreach, cold calling, site visits, and negotiations for new leases and renewals.
  • Prepare and manage lease documentation and marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Operate and maintain various systems and tools to monitor tenant sales, lease performance, rental analysis, forecasting, and generate management reports.
  • Leverage strong analytical skills to analyze data and evaluate the mall's sales performance.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on emerging retail trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Oversee rental payments to ensure timely collection, and take necessary actions to address arrears.



The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma/ Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
  • Proven track record in retail leasing with good network of tenants and contacts
  • Good written and spoken communication skills, with strong negotiation and numeracy skills
  • Computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft software such as excel and powerpoint
  • Meticulous, ability to multi-task and work within tight timeline
  • Possess positive disposition, independent, resourceful and a team player
