Job Description

1. Strategic HR Leadership:Collaborating with executives and department leaders to design and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives and culture.
2. Talent Management:Driving recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, and succession planning to attract and retain top talent, while fostering continuous development and growth within the organisation.
3. Employee Relations:Managing complex employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
4. Change Management:Leading and supporting organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during company growth, restructuring, or policy shifts.
5. HR Analytic and Reporting:Using data-driven insights to make informed decisions on workforce planning, engagement strategies, and performance improvements.
6. Compliance and Policy Management:Ensuring all HR practices comply with labour laws and regulations, and keeping HR policies updated and relevant.
7. Leadership Development:Coaching and supporting managers and leaders, helping them build effective teams and enhancing their leadership capabilities.

The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a deep understanding of the business to effectively support its growth and operational needs.

The Successful Applicant

1. Extensive HR Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of HR management experience, with a focus on strategic HR leadership and business partnering, preferably within the gaming, tech, or creative industries.
2. Strategic Thinking:Proven ability to align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring talent management, employee engagement, and organisational development are in sync with company growth.
3. Expertise in Talent Management:Strong background in recruitment, performance management, and employee development, with experience in leading talent acquisition and retention strategies in a competitive industry.
4. Change Management Skills:Experience leading and managing organisational change initiatives, including mergers, restructuring, or rapid growth phases.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making:Proficiency in using HR metrics and data analysis to inform strategic decisions, optimise processes, and improve employee satisfaction.
6. Employee Relations Expertise:Proven experience in managing complex employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
7. Legal Compliance Knowledge:Strong understanding of local and international labour laws and HR compliance regulations, ensuring that HR practices adhere to legal standards.
8. Leadership and Coaching Abilities:Ability to coach and mentor senior leaders and managers, helping to enhance leadership capabilities and improve team performance.
9. Cultural Fit:Passion for gaming or entertainment, with an understanding of the industry's trends and challenges, and a strong alignment with organisation's innovative and fast-paced culture.
10. Excellent Communication Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
