Job Description

  • Cybersecurity Expertise & Leadership: Act as a domain expert, leading and influencing multi-disciplinary teams in managing and operating security controls for various platforms including micro-services, containers, applications, operating systems, databases, and networks.
  • System Architecture & Deployment: Provide security-focused system architecture design and planning for new IT infrastructure deployments (hosted and cloud), perform initial installations and configurations, and conduct security design reviews with customers.
  • Security Assessment & Testing: Lead application, server, and network vulnerability assessments, including static (SAST), dynamic (DAST) analysis, penetration testing, and Red Teaming activities to identify vulnerabilities and determine security posture.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with project managers, application developers, and database administrators; support presales teams with solutioning; and assist maintenance teams with chronic problem resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Security Operations & Automation: Support the monitoring and tuning of security detection and automation tools, and automate security controls and data processes for better metrics and operational support.
  • Risk Communication: Interpret technical and security requirements into business terms and communicate associated risks to various stakeholders, from business leaders to engineers.
  • Security Hardening: Develop and implement security best practices and hardening measures for servers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field.
  • 3+ years in IT in network/system/application security, focused on Vulnerability Assessment (VA), Penetration Testing, and Source Code Reviews.
  • Proficiency in OS security (Windows/Linux), including hardening, patching, and virus mitigation.
  • Professional credentials such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CREST, or CEH are highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, advisory capabilities, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
