Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from multiple stakeholders, translating them into functional solutions and defining project scope.
  • Collaborate with Lead BAs, Solution Architects, and IT teams to design, validate, and agree on effective solutions.
  • Serve as liaison between business users, operations, developers, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Prepare and maintain key documentation including BRDs, FSDs, and training or product collateral.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and functional) for core banking and payment systems.
  • Define test scenarios, manage defect tracking, and support developers and testers in resolving issues efficiently.
  • Monitor project risks, provide regular status reports, and ensure successful delivery of solutions across all business streams.



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • At least 8 years of business analyst experience in Payment systems and Core Banking applications, with strong functional expertise in international payments, clearing, settlement, and related reporting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of payment products and standards including ISO20022, SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, ACH, and various domestic and cross-border payment types.
  • Experienced in UAT, functional, and system integration testing, including data mapping, defect management, and testing methodologies using tools like ALM, QC, JIRA, and Cucumber.
  • Technical exposure to modern platforms and tools such as Kafka, JanusGraph, Elasticsearch, and Kibana for data streaming, analytics, and monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and IT system implementation life cycle, with ability to work on complex, multinational banking systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, capable of translating complex information into clear and concise deliverables for multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactive team player with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across global sites, share knowledge, and support efficient solution delivery.
