Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of BI solutions, making independent technical decisions and clearly communicating trade-offs to stakeholders
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets aligned with business needs
  • Build and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL pipelines (SSIS/SSRS) to support reporting
  • Define and enforce best practices in data modelling, DAX, and performance optimization
  • Lead end-to-end BI delivery from requirements gathering to deployment and user adoption
  • Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and proper documentation across all deliverables
  • Drive innovation through cloud initiatives and AI/ML-enabled solutions to enhance analytics and insights
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, ensure data quality, security, compliance, and maintain proper documentation



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft BI tools, including Power BI (Desktop, Service, Report Server)
  • Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI features such as RLS, incremental refresh, and deployment pipelines
  • Proficiency in SQL, including complex query optimization, and experience with SSRS and SSIS
  • Experience with .NET (preferably C#) for BI integrations and data workflow development
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), with tools like JIRA and Control-M
  • Familiarity with AWS data services and solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, tools, and practical application opportunities
  • Required Certificates like Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) & AI / ML Fundamentals (any recognized certification)
