Job Description

  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
  • Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing.
  • Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
  • Develop and implement improvements to systems and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and the company's policies.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting.
  • Participate in risk management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant / AM Finance should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Proven experience in handling accounting with multi-currency transactions.
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as SAP will be beneficial.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
