Our client is a leader in providing mission critical communications and DX solutions for remote and demanding environments. They unify satellite, fibre, 5G/4G, Wi-Fi, and microwave technologies into end-to-end managed network solutions, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity for clients worldwide. Given the specialized nature of their solutions, they thrive in industries such as maritime, energy, mining etc. Most of their deals are aimed at mid-market and large-cap accounts and they operate with a lean and experienced team. Owing to their growth in topline results in the current fiscal, they are looking to hire a Sales Manager, SEA based in Singapore.

Job Description

Reporting to the Sales Director of APAC the success of the Sales Manager, SEA will be measured on:

  • Hunt for new accounts in the maritime, energy segments, particularly firms with regional headquarters in Singapore or SEA
  • Collaborate with regional and global counterparts to cross-sell
  • Partner marketing, pre-sales, system engineering teams to understand client needs and pitching solutions that fit
  • Partner with KAMs / CSMs to develop and close new business within assigned strategic accounts through targeted outreach, growing strategic client relationships, and building consensus across organizational stakeholders
  • Actively engage in activities to drive qualified pipeline creation and coverage ratio
  • Work as a team player and keep open lines of communication with the service delivery team to ensure customer satisfaction through implementation
  • Accurately create and maintain sales pipeline forecasting, prospecting reports, and customer data in the CRM system

The Successful Applicant

The successful Sales Manager - SEA, will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university
  • Five or more years in a hunting role, targeting maritime, energy accounts in APAC
  • Strong knowledge in selling connectivity, security, DX solutions
  • Proven track record of operating autonomously
  • Solid lead networking/prospecting capability & aspiration to represent the company at events & conferences
  • Experience of having worked in a matrix structure, in an IC role
  • Ability to guide decision making at C-level & travel in the region
