Sales Director - EMS (Consumer Electronics)

This role is responsible for driving new business growth in the EMS division by identifying and securing strategic partnerships with OEMs and startups. This position will manage the full sales cycle and collaborate cross-functionally to develop customised solutions for clients across various industries.

My client is a global technology company providing end-to-end Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), including design, engineering, and mass production solutions. With R&D centres across the region, my client serves industries such as consumer electronics, healthcare tech, industrial, automotive, and communications.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans targeting EMS opportunities.
  • Identify and engage potential customers that align with my client's capabilities and offerings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and program management) to create competitive proposals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with executive decision-makers and maintain a robust industry network.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Represent my client at industry events, trade shows, and forums to enhance brand presence.



The Successful Applicant

  • About 10 years of proven sales or business development experience in EMS or contract manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success in securing new business and managing strategic client relationships.
  • Strong connections with brand owners and OEMs, especially in electronics, IoT, or industrial sectors.
