In the last year, they have received significant external investment to strengthen their global footprint and as part of this growth, we are looking to hire a Sales Compensation Specialist, responsible for compensation strategies across all markets except North America.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Compensation Manager in Singapore, the Sales Compensation Specialist will help in designing, implementing and managing sales compensation programs to ensure they align with our business objectives and motivate sales team to achieve their targets. This is a critical hire as it directly impacts sales performance and overall company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Compensation Plans: Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to create and modify sales compensation plans that are competitive, motivating, and in line with company goals.
  • Plan Implementation: Implement and administer compensation plans accurately, ensuring that compensation calculations are error-free and on schedule.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation plans and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Performance Tracking: Manage the calculation and tracking of metric performance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
  • Communication: Communicate compensation plans and changes effectively to the sales team, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights on sales performance and compensation metrics.
  • Compliance: stay up to date with sales compensation laws and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Automation: Utilize software and tools to automate compensation calculations and reporting processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or other related discipline.
  • Proven experience in sales compensation analysis and design.
  • Experience with CRM and sales performance tracking software.
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation practices and processes. Solid understanding of regional regulations relating to compensation.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and a detailed knowledge of sales compensation administration.
  • Strong project management and proficient presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize and maintain a high level of objectivity and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build strong business relationships with internal customers, external agencies, and vendors
