About Our Client
Our client is the UK's number one professional body dedicated to educating, developing and regulating actuaries on the global stage. They regulate over 30,000 members worldwide, overseeing their actuarial education at all stages of qualification and development throughout their careers. They set examinations, professional development, codes and disciplinary standards for their members. They are now looking for a Regional Manager to maintain strong relationships with the main actors in the industry.
Job Description
- Develop the Southeast Asia markets and achieve set member engagement / business development objectives
- Design and deliver market plans as part of the international strategy
- Deliver a member engagement strategy for the region that includes initiatives, activities and events that contribute directly to member value
- Developing the acquisition strategy leading to a sustainable pipeline of new members in the region
- Develop and manage multiple level of relationships with key stakeholders to build the presence and awareness of the organisation as a leading global actuarial body in the region
- Oversee any assigned new market development work within Southeast Asia or any other country as designated
- Manage the Southeast Asia team
The Successful Applicant
- About 5 years of experience building relationships in a Non-Profit/Government/Organisation capacity
- Strategic mindset and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of international markets and business particularly in Southeast Asia
- Good account management skills, with the ability to create innovative approaches to solving problems
- Experience in organising networking activities and events
- Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships with at all levels, including students, graduates, professionals, HR & L&D, C-Suite, Senior Actuaries and government
