About Our Client
The client is a UK-listed MNC with a global presence in more than thirty countries. Their APAC Talent Development Team sits across SEAI, Australia and Japan.
Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Talent Development Manager, this role will be supporting SEAI.
Facilitation
- Deliver training as needed (including online, virtual and face-to-face training environments) on a weekly basis
- Travel internationally across the Southeast Asia & India region to deliver training as required (periods of travel will
- Co-facilitation of training sessions and workshops with subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Undertake necessary pre and post-training actions as required, such as training planning and administration, report creation and providing feedback to line managers on participant performance
- Reduce participant skill gaps
- Meet productivity and availability metrics
- Collaborate and support team members as needed
Project Management
- Proactively promote training and learning opportunities
- Serve as an internal consultant and collaborate with managers and supervisors to recommend learning experiences to employees of all levels, and organize programs to address these needs
- Identify available training opportunities, provide guidance to departments and individual employees in meeting their learning/professional development needs
- Collect, organize and analyse data to identify the development needs of employees and report findings to Regional Talent Development Manager and Regional Talent Development Director
- Provide individual coaching to employees on a needs basis
- Undertake job shadowing and observations to better understand and reinforce employees' learning
Instructional Design
- Conduct needs analysis
- Lead and develop creative learning solutions that improve performance, talent management and retention within the organisation
- Develop training content and courses to deliver to the business as required. This may include, but is not limited to facilitator guides, participant packs/handouts, slide presentations and online guides
- Create training reports and technical documents to support learning
The Successful Applicant
- Prior experience in Talent Development/L&D training in an MNC environment
- Ideally proven track record of success in face-to-face training delivery of soft skills and technical courses. Also open to candidates without hands-on training delivery experience but come from a similar MNC environment and are keen to specialise in training/talent development.
- Experience supporting learning, development and wider business initiatives through actions and decision-making
- Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Able to commit from June 2022 to Feb 2023
