About Our Client

Our client is a trader/distributor in electronics components (e.g. IC), where they set their eyes to be a solution provider for "High mix-Low volume" procurement needs with an assurance of supply.

We are in search of a Sales Regional Manager/Director who is experienced in providing solutions to customers across various industrial sectors in the electronics and OEM segment across APAC.

This role will be responsible for the planning and implementing of strategies resulting in profit growth through penetration of assigned accounts across the region. Developing new prospects and building relationships with assigned customers to grow sales and margin of the company's products and/or services.

Job Description

  • Achieve sales objectives for products and services within designated industries and accounts.
  • Promote and sell the company's products and able to provide consultative advice to support customers' needs and decision
  • Managing key accounts (e.g. OEM and EMS)
  • Conduct sales calls and client visitation for all existing and potential client
  • Provide a weekly sales report to the General Manager.
  • Plan and deliver excellent customer presentations.
  • Identify and develop unique sales possibilities, as well as prepare specific sales strategies
  • Collaborate closely with clients to establish specifications that satisfy their demands.
  • The scope of tasks may be amended as needed by the organization from time to time.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must have the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, but Mechanical will be considered
  • Minimum 6-10 years of sales/business development experience, preferably in manufacturers of semiconductor or Electronics Component Distributors Or Contract Manufacturers
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with proficiency in MS office

Our Client provides a high level of autonomy and ownership, and they are flexible with working hours and location. This role will be well compensated based on the level of business brought in by the individual. Transport Allowance will be provided. Depending on the size of the business that is built by you, there is a potential for you to build a team under you.
