Being one of the global leaders in providing energy solutions, my client is supplies energy management systems, to switchgears. Being an MNC with over 25,000 employees globally, they are driven to serve its customers globally with engineering centers and manufacturing facilities located across the globe.
Due to the growing market demand for Variable Speed Drives, the organisation is looking for an Regional Sales Manager to contribute by propelling the product sales.
The Regional Sales Manager role will be reporting to the Regional Senior Sales Manager. Key responsibilities will be expanding sales activities and increasing market share. This will be done through improving relationship with customers in the Variable Speed Drives market. You will be responsible for supporting and driving sales within the APAC market. Other responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver annual growth plan and key initiatives across Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives
- Achieve sales budget, profit margin, improve fiscal performance
- Manage existing accounts and develop new business via technical and sales support to OEM, M&E Consultants, Developer, System Integrators
- Analyse local market requirements in the assigned geography area to increase brand presence
- Addressing any critical product quality issue on customer site
The Successful Applicant
To be a successful applicant, you need to have:
- Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
- 3 years or more experience in a technical sales role for Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives in HVAC and Water industry
- Knowledge in Medium Voltage Drive will be a plus
- Proven track record of dealing with Developers, M&E Consultants etc.
- Hunter mindset to achieve the sales target
- Assertive personality with excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Class 2/3 driving license
