About Our Client
Our client is an Italian head-quartered firm who has grown into a leading solutions provider for the labs and industrial space; they provide top end sterilisation equipment to companies around the world with a top excellence service in an effort to increase their achievement and efficiency. With extensive operations around the globe, they have a strong footprint in APAC, with their HQ in Singapore, and they are still growing to achieve greater heights. As part of their growth, they are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager in order to manage and grow the distributor relationships that they have established along the years as well as growing the business in APAC.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible to accelerate the growth in the region you will plan and manage sales activities, customers and prospective customer. You will be tasked to set up distributors and channel partners in the region. Other responsiblities include:
Build new relationships with prospective clients and distributors in order to ensure the growth of the business and the development of your accounts
Build strong relationships to identify new opportunities and retain those accounts with a risk of stopping their continuity
Manage sales opportunities and develop Distinct Value Proposition on your products and features, aligned with your customer requirement in order to maximize profit through a strong relationship and engagement with your clients.
Manage your market by doing research and monitoring your competition, being up-to-date with the market trends and reviewing market prices and services to be in line with your customer needs and expectations in order to provide an excellent service
Leading sales negotiations, presentations and strategic meetings with current and prospective customers
Support Channel Partners and field sales in the sales process and in providing distinct value proposition for the company's products.
Be involved in the solution selling for your customers and channel
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have experience in channel sales or setting up distributors. Strong regional knowledge in APAC is a must, as well as understanding clients' needs and requirements in order to customize their requirements and serve them accordingly. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to speak with different levels within the organization and to be able to manage accounts' development at the same time that you grow the business with prospective clients. You must possess excellent sales and negotiation skills, good business sense, ability to work calmly under pressure with initiative, drive and enthusiasm, being able to work in a highly dynamic team.
