Job Description

  • Serve as the regional point of contact for customised solution projects, supporting local and global teams on technical and commercial aspects.
  • Interpret and translate customer drawings, technical specifications, and requirements into "build-to-print" engineering solutions.
  • Perform technical calculations, create designs and BOMs based on existing product portfolios, and ensure manufacturability using regional production capabilities.
  • Introduce and industrialize new customer projects within the regional production setup.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to deliver projects on time, within cost, and to the required quality.
  • Support the preparation of technical documentation and engineering specifications for internal and customer presentations.
  • Provide cost estimation and proposal support for sales and business development activities.
  • Train and support local project engineers, helping to replicate and scale customised solutions across the region.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in custom cable assemblies, connectors, or engineered systems-ideally within industrial automation, rail, or energy sectors.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical layouts.
  • Proficient in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination, cost estimation, and product industrialization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to collaborate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
  • A practical, solution-driven mindset with high attention to detail.
