Job Description

Serve as the regional point of contact for customised solution projects, supporting local and global teams on technical and commercial aspects.
Interpret and translate customer drawings, technical specifications, and requirements into "build-to-print" engineering solutions.
Perform technical calculations, create designs and BOMs based on existing product portfolios, and ensure manufacturability using regional production capabilities.
Introduce and industrialize new customer projects within the regional production setup.
Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to deliver projects on time, within cost, and to the required quality.
Support the preparation of technical documentation and engineering specifications for internal and customer presentations.
Provide cost estimation and proposal support for sales and business development activities.
Train and support local project engineers, helping to replicate and scale customised solutions across the region.

The Successful Applicant

Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
5-10 years of relevant experience in custom cable assemblies, connectors, or engineered systems-ideally within industrial automation, rail, or energy sectors.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical layouts.
Proficient in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in project coordination, cost estimation, and product industrialization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to collaborate effectively with both customers and internal teams.
A practical, solution-driven mindset with high attention to detail.
