About Our Client

Our client is a luxury brand that was founded in the 1900s, widely known for their timeless couture designs and classic leather goods and accessories. To date, they have become one of the leading names in the luxury industry and are renowned for a strong people culture. They are now seeking a talented Regional People Manager to oversee the regional office and act as an internal business partner with a key focus on talent management and development.

Job Description

In this newly created role, you will report into the Regional Human Resources Director and work closely within a team of 5. In addition, you will:

  • Drive regional HR and Talent strategies across SEA, designing and delivering effective talent programs to develop and retain high-performing employees; driving best practice and ensure consistency across all markets
  • Manage the harmonisation of HR policies, support HR operations across your assigned markets, forecast and budgeting, driving rollouts of all global and regional initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, regulatory changes, employment law, talent management and new technologies that aligns with business goals and objectives
  • Work closely with the leadership team on HR projects and initiatives to drive a strong people culture and develop talent capabilities across SEA

The Successful Applicant

You will be a driven HR professional with a strong passion for people, talent development and management. Additionally, you will possess:

  • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Min. 10 years' HR Generalist experience, with ideally 3 years' experience within talent development and management
  • Relevant HR experience within the retail industry is essential
  • A proven track record in people development, accessing organisation talent needs and capabilities, developing hi-po and relevant training programmes
  • Progressive mindset, ability to empower and lead employees of all levels
  • Approachable with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and ability to be both hands-on and strategic
