Michael Page is currently supporting the Go-To-Market & Innovation team to identify a Regional Marketing Manager who will be imperative in identifying the market segments to penetrate while developing the appropriate GTM strategies for this purpose.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the APAC Go-To-Market Lead, the primary responsibility for the Regional Marketing Manager is to support product innovation by being staying abreast with the trends and market insights. You will be responsible for being the one of the key points of contact for the APAC market. In addition, you will be responsible for developing marketing plans for the local market in line with the regional and global marketing guidelines. You will also be up to the challenge of:

  • Develop a category strategy based on insights gathered from consumers, competitors, and in consideration with the commercial and product teams' inputs
  • Identify opportunities for further growth of the product portfolio into specific countries or locations, together with the local marketing managers
  • Strategise a 3-year and 5-year plan, and implementing the regional marketing strategies together with the help from the local marketing and sales people
  • Drive the execution of marketing plans and activities across the region while tapping onto existing marketing resources
  • Analyse the efficiency of the current marketing set up, consistently improve the processes so as to fit with a robust business plan
  • Be the representative APAC marketing support for reactive regional proposals and projects
  • Conduct product launches across APAC and monitor the sales performance of each product

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Sciences, Biotechnology, Nutrition, Chemistry or a similar field
  • 7 years' or more experience in the Nutraceutical or Food Nutrition industry
  • Regional B2B marketing experience in a diverse and international environment
  • Analytical skills as well as strategic thinking and acute commercial acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to develop local brand strategy & plans
  • Effective stakeholder management with the ability to lead through influencing
  • Amicable personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong passion for health and wellness
  • Ability to deliver comprehensible presentations effectively and convincingly
  • Team player who can engage in creative thinking with the team
