Our client is a global MNC that has interests in many facets of health and nutrition. They develop cutting-edge solutions for human and animal nutrition, personal care and fragrance, medical devices, green products and applications, and new mobility and connection. Placing their business partners, clients and end consumers at the heart of everything they do, our client is looking to hire a strategic and hands-on marketer to be responsible for an Asia Pacific Marketing Manager role.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director based in the Global HQ, this role will be responsible for the development of marketing and brand strategies, aligned to the vision and mission of the brand. You are also responsible for the roadmap planning along for the next 3 years, together with the global marketing team in the headquarters. Your ability to coordinate and integrate the overall global strategy for each market is also crucial. Other responsibilities include:

  • Develops and executes regional marketing and communication plans in line with sales targets in collaboration with the APAC sales team, global segment marketing experts, and business managers around the world. This covers marketing campaigns and product releases, as well as tracking progress, assessing effectiveness, and making necessary revisions.
  • Assesses present and prospective market and communication trends, competition advancements, and consumer behaviour, and converts this information into practical sales tools.
  • Adapts and adapts global value propositions and sales techniques to meet the demands of local customers.
  • Organizes regional and local events / webinars in accordance with global guidelines
  • Supports customer communication and develops segment- or client-specific trend presentations and concepts in collaboration with sales.
  • Support strategic direction of regional marketing analytics

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Management / Administration
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in B2B marketing from a food related industry
  • 7 year's experience in a marketing field within the food ingredients or food solutions space
  • Has the capacity to operate effectively in a complex, global and diverse setting and understands the needs of several areas (business management, sales, strategic marketing).
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, pragmatic approach, stakeholder management abilities, and digital savvy
  • Strong integrated marketing skills with experience implementing campaigns on both traditional and digital media formats
  • Proven track record of executing strategies and operational plans with a sizable and measurable impact
  • A mindset to have consistent improvement, and resilience to deal and solve complex problems, with competing priorities and customer needs
  • Succinct delivery of ideas and strong presentation skills to a board of stakeholders
