About Our Client

Our client is seeking for a highly skilled Regional Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of logistics services for their diverse product range across the region.

Job Description

  • Drive the Regional Procurement Strategies for the region by collaborating with stakeholders and provide expert advice to stakeholders to enhance their scope of work by aligning with market best practices.
  • Standardize and streamline SOPs for vendors.
  • Challenge and improve existing business concepts that rely on sole sourcing.
  • Understand business needs and act with urgency to address them.
  • Lead change initiatives through influence and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain a Business Continuity program to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Align internal needs with external market dynamics and suppliers for rapid responses.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and company policies.
  • Share knowledge and ensure adherence to procurement processes with stakeholders.
  • Minimize supply chain risks by upholding Procurement Policy, EHSS standards and ethical practices.
  • Manage and enhance supplier performance by regularly reviewing KPIs with stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • Prior experience working in MNC environment within FMCG or Chemical industry.
  • At least 10 years of procurement experience, with proven background in procurement of logistics/ supply chain services within APAC.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and willing to work in a fast paced environment.
