About Our Client

Our Client is a global leader in the FMCG Industry with multi-billion-dollar revenue worldwide. They have a huge worldwide presence and have significant market share in key global markets, offering a variety of beauty care products to their customers. The company has a vision to combine innovation, knowledge, people and products. With increasing demand and new product introductions, they are currently looking for a Regional Inventory Management Executive to assist them and contribute in this area.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities include management of inventory for all direct markets through SIOP join consensus meeting alongside with Brand marketing and Sales team to meet the required KPI. You are expected to have great communication skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • To generate and execute deployment plan from regional hub to affiliates/markets based on plan from CRSM.
  • To manage near term (execution period) Affiliate Supply commits and in transit inventory to affiliates based on orders/sales trend.
  • Management of supply exceptions and logistic disruptions for the APAC hub.
  • To monitor inventory availability in APAC hub, potential Out of Stock, decide mitigation plan which includes mode of shipment change, rebalance APAC hub inventory level via redeployment and others.
  • To manage stocks by maintaining good level of inventory by optimising sales and space management.
  • Using data analysis to support and manage the inventory, stock availability and forecast accuracy.
  • Be proactive on stocks-related issues such as nearly out-of-stock and ensure that aging stocks are maintained at low quantities.
  • Coordination and collaboration with diverse levels on stakeholders for brand-related concerns such as listing, promotions and replenishment.

The Successful Applicant

You must have a Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain and a minimum of 5 years experience within the Retail/FMCG Industry with exposure in Supply Chain/Inventory Management. You must possess analytical skills and data interpretation in order to use metrics to discover areas of business improvement and drive performance.
