The Regional HR Specialist (1 Year Contract) will play a crucial role in assisting the Human Resources department within the financial services industry. This position, based in Singapore, requires a detail-oriented professional to manage HR operations and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs including new hires, resignations, salary changes, bonuses, allowances, overtime, and deductions.
  • Administer CPF contributions, IR8A/IR21/IR21 submissions, and annual tax filings.
  • Liaise with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll discrepancies and queries.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, MOM guidelines, and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, reports, and documentation for audits and management reporting.
  • Assist on payroll-related system updates, testing, and process improvements.
  • Assist on employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and contract administration.
  • Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update HRIS and employee records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave management, and insurance-related matters.
  • Manage employee queries on payroll, benefits, and HR policies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist on HR reporting, audits, and ad-hoc HR projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Has 5 years of HR operations and hands-on/vendor payroll experience, within a corporate or financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations
  • Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors, Workday, ADP, or similar).
  • High attention to detail with strong numerical skills.
  • Ability to manage discreet information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel (VLOOKUP and PIVOTABLE)
