As an FP&A Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial planning, analysis, and reporting are executed efficiently across the APAC region. You will also be responsible for overseeing FP&A activities for specific SEA countries, working closely with local and regional teams to drive business insights and support decision-making processes.

Our client is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, committed to improving lives through innovative healthcare solutions. We are seeking a talented FP&A Specialist to support full FP&A responsibilities across the APAC region and manage local market FP&A duties for select SEA countries.

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, the role will:

  • Lead full FP&A responsibilities for APAC, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Manage FP&A for specific SEA markets, ensuring alignment with regional strategies and providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to develop financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to optimize financial results.
  • Support strategic initiatives, business cases, and ad-hoc analysis for management and senior leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in FP&A, with initial years in the Big 4 and relevant certifications, e.g. CPA, CIMA
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both regional and local teams.
  • Good proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
