About Our Client
Our Client is a global leader in the Consumer Products Industry with multi billion-dollar revenue worldwide. They have a huge worldwide presence and have significant market share in key global markets, offering a variety of beauty care products to their customers. The company has a vision to combine innovation, knowledge, people and products. With increasing demand and new product introductions, they are currently looking for an Regional E-commerce Supply Chain Director to assist them and contribute in this area.
*To develop, define and drive operational contracts with logistics partners and fulfilment centres with reference to data supported by costing, cash flow and revenue metrics focused on strengthening business performance and customer satisfaction.
*To create and execute an end to end Supply Chain blueprint to strategically support the growth of the regional direct to consumer platform while delivering a premium and seamless consumer experience.
*To collaborate with stakeholders (Supply Chain, Brand Principle) to review and manage plans according to project plans and activities according to consumer needs.
*To drive the implementation of global direct to consumer projects relating to packaging, distribution, order management. Merchandising planning and allocation.
* To identify creative and innovative ways to improve regional consumer satisfaction via delivery and unpacking experience.
The Successful Applicant
You should have a Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain and have significant years of related working experience in the Retail/FMCG Industry from a robust end-to-end Supply Chain Management background. It is essential that you can demonstrate your ability to be strong in negotiation and supplier management experience. You must possess very strong influencing skills to be able to deliver value and advice to peers and stakeholders; You also must have analytic skills and data interpretation in order to use these metrics to discover areas of business improvement and drive performance. You should have distribution and logistics experience with in-depth local e-commerce fulfilment approaches and third-party platforms. You must also be technologically savvy in any Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems for parcels, and allocation & replenishment systems.
