With increasing demand and new product introductions, they are currently looking for a Demand Forecaster to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue their current growth.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be engaged in demand forecasting and planning for Regional markets as well as aligning the forecast with purchase requirements. As a Demand Planner, you will also need to analyse forecast variance to improve the forecast accuracy and manage inventory in the responsible markets. You will also have to organise and lead monthly validation meetings and prepare analytical reports for S&OP. This role is highly operational and demand planning is done using Excel spreadsheets.
The Successful Applicant
You must have a minimum of 3 years experience in demand planning or a planning environment with strong analytical skills. Knowledge and experience in forecasting, budgeting and reporting principles is necessary. You should be able to work independently and give high level of work commitment with a positive mindset. You have to have good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels throughout the organisation. Being resilient and having strong Excel skills is compulsory.
