Job Description

  • Create and execute procurement strategies to efficiently acquire raw materials, components, and finished products within set timelines and budget constraints
  • Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Stay abreast of market dynamics, assess supplier performance, and uphold quality standards to optimise procurement processes while ensuring compliance with requirements
  • Collaborate closely with various departments to synchronise procurement activities and support organisational goals and foster seamless collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Utilise data analysis and reporting tools to uncover opportunities for cost reduction and contribute to budgetary planning, forecasting exercises, and financial analyses
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by management to support organisational objectives and operational excellence

The Successful Applicant

  • Possess a minimum of five years of experience in procurement/purchasing roles, with a preference for experience in start-up or SME environments
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Exhibits a hands-on approach and maintains a positive, can-do attitude
  • Capable and willing to undertake frequent travel for professional obligations
