The Project Director will lead end-to-end development projects, from project planning, construction, and delivery from concept to operational readiness. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this role requires strong expertise in project execution, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and budget control.

My client is a leading integrated healthcare provider with a strong presence in Singapore and Malaysia, specializing in women's and children's health, fertility, and tertiary care services. They are actively expanding their footprint through large-scale hospital developments and aim to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the region.

Job Description



  • Oversee the full lifecycle of development projects from planning to commissioning, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.


  • Supervise design, procurement, approvals, and on-site construction activities to meet quality, timeline, and regulatory requirements.


  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, and authorities to drive project success.


  • Lead project meetings and report progress and key updates to senior management.


  • Develop budgets, manage costs, identify risks, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.


  • Oversee adherence to local regulations, health & safety standards, and obtain all required permits and licenses.


  • Implement QA frameworks, manage inspections, and ensure a smooth transition to operational readiness.


  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the department head.



The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields; specialization in Civil or Structural Engineering is a plus.


  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.


  • 10+ years of experience in project management, including at least 5 years in infrastructure or large-scale development projects.


  • Technical Knowledge - Strong understanding of construction methodologies, regulatory frameworks, and design principles.


  • Experience with SEA markets will be beneficial as the role will oversee development markets


  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills with a high level of organization and problem-solving ability.
