Job Description

  • Designing, documenting, implementing, and supporting procedural reform, including working with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and Finance functions to decide where and how work will be completed
  • Transparent and well reported change management of both process improvements and any projects undertaken
  • Acting as a liaison between Finance, Claims, and Underwriting for problem resolution and process support
  • Comply with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations in order to ensure compliance with the regulatory and legal requirements
  • Operating as an effective operations team member by supporting colleagues and contributing in the delivery and achievement of overall team and business objectives
  • Systems and Process reviews across all functions to improve efficiency. Conduct efficiency review of business processes and identify areas for improvement in processes and cost reduction
  • Provide support on movement of work to Shared Services and the develop of a sound Shared Service strategy. Define, develop processes and controls to enable the transfer. Implement, manage, and monitor the transfer process

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong foundation in Six Sigma methodologies (ideally Green belt)
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Ability to create reporting frameworks that creates incentives within a process
  • Excellent, flexible communication skills across all levels of the business
  • Self-starter, ambitious, willing to learn, and comfortable leading in teams through challenging change projects
