About Our Client
Our client is in the space of livestreaming, gaming and social media. They have recently set up an office here in Singapore. Looking to build a gain more users in the region, they are looking to hire a Product Manager to be part of a their team overlooking the core product features. You will be able to be the first few employees of the SEA office and come up with compelling strategies that is best suited for the users in the region. The product team is expanding aggressively.
Job Description
The Product Manager will be reporting to the Director of Product based here in Singapore who has years of experience in working with consumer-facing products. You will be helping to develop, drive and implement the overall strategy and vision of the product. You will be building a product to ensure that the product is innovative in this highly-competitive space. Video streaming/gaming/livestreaming experience will be advantageous. You will be working on optimising their user experiences and coming up with exciting new innovations to drive the NPS.As the company is a start-up with high growth trajectory, they are open to considering candidates from all seniorities.You must also possess superb communication skills and being able to identify why things happen the way they do. You will be working closely with several internal stakeholders from various functions. A good understanding of the SEA local cultures and user behaviour will be very helpful. You will be working closely with counterparts in China working on a separate but similar product which is already successful in Mainland China.
The Successful Applicant
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- 5 years or more experience in product management
- Experience in building products from 0-1, gaming, video, livestreaming, social media experience is a plus
- BA/BS degree and above
- Excellent communication and social skills, ability to influence
- Hands-on attitude, detail-oriented and be able to make data-driven decisions as you will have ownership over the product
