This position is for an IT Procurement Assistant/ Deputy Manager. The successful candidate will manage and oversee all aspects of IT procurement.

Job Description

  • Procure IT goods and services
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
  • Tracking and reporting key functional metrics
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations
  • Managing relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance
  • Implementing procurement best practices

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
  • Minimally 3 years of proven experience in procurement roles
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques for IT category preferred
  • Experience in procurement software and systems
  • Excellent spoken and written communication
