The Procurement Executive manages sourcing, purchasing, and supplier negotiations to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods and services. The hire will also coordinate with internal teams to maintain inventory levels and optimize supply chain efficiency.

Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's procurement strategy.
  • Lead the procurement and supply chain department.
  • Ensure optimal supplier selection, guaranteeing quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Oversee risk management protocols within the supply chain.
  • Work closely with other departments to forecast demand and manage inventory.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the procurement process.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements.

The Successful Applicant

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and other related IT systems.
  • A solid understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
