About Our Client
Our client is a world famous venture capital investor and they have invested a number of portfolios in the healthcare sector with very good financial returns. One of the portfolios they invested years ago is looking to hire a CFO for the IPO project in the coming future.
The candidate will have full responsibilities of the finance management of the business. its main tasks include:
- strategic support and act as a strong business partner to drive growth and profit. daily tasks include; strategic planning, rolling forecast, budgeting, pricing/account p&l analysis, cost analysis, management reporting, investment analysis such as M&A support and due diligence. set up strong business finance team to facilitate decisions.
- investor relations/funding/IPO: act as a key person to manage investor relations, fund raising and drive IPO projects. Able to work with different parties to ensure IPO project done.
- financial control/accounting/tax/treasury: build up efficient finance operation team, set up and streamline processes for continuous improvements. actively involved in tax planning and cash flow management.
- leadership/people skills - able to manage team in different countries. train and develop people. build up a positive culture that always aims for results. Able to interact with business leaders and functional leaders to solve key issues.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant must have experience working in investment banking sector with proven track record of investing in the healthcare area. Strong funding experience, commercial acumen, communication skills (Chinese Mandarin is NOT a must), leadership skills are key to the success of the role. He/she needs to be open minded and always aim for results, be hungry and passionate.
well rounded skills in M&A support, funding, fp&a, commercial finance and overall finance/accounting management.
relevant academic background in medical or biotech related field is highly preferred.
