Job Description
- Support the development operating budget for Toll locations and the standard cost setting process including cost equalization across suppliers
- Prepare financial and management reports - ensure accuracy of financial data and provide financial reports to management in a timely manner
- Variance analyses - identify, investigate, explain and analyze the key drivers of manufacturing variances
- Provide product cost visibility to management - report and analyze the cost breakdown of the tolling manufactured materials
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the pricing agreements with tollers/suppliers regarding raw material prices, toll fee and toller-supplied material prices
- Consolidate pricing and manufacturing data for AI costs analysis - keeping track of all material usages and pricing data, analyze and consolidate collected data to facilitate product cost analysis
- Monitor the progress of cost-savings projects and manage corresponding contract agreement
- Handle payment requisition for Non-PO payment (e.g. Project payment)
- Participate in ad hoc OFPA improvement projects
- Follow the internal control book procedures and support SOX and internal audit as needed
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial planning and analysis, product costing, and/or operations finance, within manufacturing/procurement (preferably the chemicals industry)
- Experience with the financial reporting cycle including development of annual business plan / budget, financial projections / recurring forecasts and operations cost management required
- Standard costing experience (preferred)
- ERP System experience required, SAP S4 HANA is highly advantageous
- Ability to build effective business relationships, and interact and communicate effectively
- Strong English written and oral presentations skills
- Demonstration of root cause investigation and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and adapt to change as needed
- Proficient in the Microsoft office suite to include Excel and Power Point
