Job Description

  • Support daily operational activities within the banking and financial services department.
  • Handle operations for alternative investment funds.
  • Familiarity with processing trades and managing lifecycle events for instruments such as convertible bonds and securities, OTC derivatives, FX and other relevant instruments.
  • Analyse and optimise workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage collateral and margin calls.
  • Monitor and reconcile financial transactions to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records for audits and reviews.
  • Assist in implementing new systems and technologies to enhance operations.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigating strategies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of settlement experience in alternative investment funds.
  • Proven experience in operational roles within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in financial operations.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
