Job Description

  • Work closely with Tech Leads
  • Implement and deploy Network Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention System, Secure Web Gateway, Web Application Firewall, Malware Protection, Vulnerability and Patch Management.
  • Assist in gathering customer requirements, conduct design workshops and present final design for customer's endorsement.
  • Assist to prepare and update relevant documentation such as technical design specification, requirement traceability matrix, design and build document, functional and user acceptance test plans.
  • Implement industry standard system hardening procedures and security features.
  • Hand over completed implementation projects to designated Maintenance and Operations teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information System.
  • Network and infrastructure security such as firewall, IPS, IDS, VPN, WAF and content filtering.
  • Content (Identity/application/data) security such as user authentication and digital certificates.
  • Mobile security such as Mobile Threat Prevention.
  • Endpoint security and OS hardening
  • Fundamental knowledge on IP networking and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, iOS/iPad OS and Android OS.
  • Prior working experience in any of the following products:
      • Checkpoint Firewall
      • Palo Alto Firewall
      • FortiGate Firewall
      • Algosec Firewall Analyzer & FireFlow
      • McAfee Network Security Platform (IPS) and Web Gateway
      • McAfee Endpoint Security
      • TrendMicro TippingPoint (NIPS)
