Global manufacturer with over 10 billion revenue is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Team Lead to be based in Singapore.
Job Description
The Mechanical Design Team Lead will be supporting in-house factory automation system/machinery development which can be deployed to any manufacturing site within the organisation's global footprint. This is a newly added headcount to manage a small & growing team of engineers to look after end to end development including concept design, review of technical drawings, BOM, building of prototype, testing and assembly during the later phase of the development projects. This includes ensuring that the project milestones are met, budget estimation, planning & management, development of work flow process (SOW) and mentoring the engineers in the team.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years' experience in mechanical design for factory automation systems or machinery
- Good knowledge in the advantages or dis-advantages of using various components in the automated system
