Job Description

  • Oversee M&E activities throughout the construction project.
  • Ensure M&E systems comply with construction codes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop precise M&E plans and specs for the project.
  • Manage M&E subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality and timely delivery.
  • Monitor M&E progress on-site, addressing issues and making necessary corrections.
  • Work with project managers to align M&E work with construction schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure M&E installations meet construction standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, accredited by the PE Board, is required.
  • The candidate should have at least 10 years of experience as an M&E Manager, ideally in building construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems is essential, along with familiarity with relevant codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication skills, and proficiency in M&E project management software like AutoCAD or Revit are necessary.
  • The role demands strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and experience working under tight deadlines; design experience or hospital project experience is a plus.
