Currently, Asia contributes about 15% of global revenue and is projected to grow at 12-15% CAGR over the next five years.Job DescriptionThe MD, Sales (Asia) will lead the sales efforts within the industrial/manufacturing sector, driving growth and strategic market expansion across the region. This role requires strong leadership and a proven ability to execute sales strategies effectively.Key Responsibilities:Lead regional sales strategy and ensure achievement of revenue targets across all product lines.Develop and manage distributor channels and strengthen relationships with OEMs.Identify and lead customer projects, including supporting design-in phases for new developments.Oversee office operations, fiduciary responsibilities, and manage a small team.Collaborate closely with global headquarters on marketing initiatives, reporting, and forecasting.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.Ten or more years of successful sales experience in electrical components or related fields.Strong network within Asian OEMs and familiarity with energy distribution/generation markets.Proven track record in systematic sales and market development in Asia.Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.Willingness to travel extensively across the region.What's on OfferOur client is a high-end manufacturing firm has a history of more than fifty years in making electrical protection solutions.
