About Our Client
Our client is a reputable global leader within the Chemical industry for more than 50 years heritage that serves a myriad of industries including oil & gas, automotive, electronics, consumer products, personal care, aerospace, building and construction and more. In this regional role, they are looking for an individual that has a strong aspiration to drive the business and spearhead the development in APAC.
Job Description
- Implement marketing and business development plans to align with regional direction
- Pinpoint new and current client growth possibilities and build new value offerings in APAC
- Collaborate with technical teams on new product offerings to meet the market demand
- Create consistent account strategies, assess and qualify leads from CRM (Salesforce), and develop focused original equipment manufactures
- Corporate with cross-functional team (sales/research etc.) to meet the corporate target
- Promote innovative products and value offerings within the healthcare industry
- Assist in the closing of new and current business, as well as the development and implementation of strategies to reach revenue targets for the healthcare business
- Evaluate healthcare sectors, development, competitors' movements, and market change in APAC
- Deliver and sustain technical findings to boost new product launch and development projects
- Maintain and strengthen key OEMs' relationships and partnership
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial business or business development, experience in thermoplastic elastomer /silicone industry or medical device industry is a plus
- Solid experience in managing projects with strong track record
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Aggressive, self-motivated, organized, results and service oriented, eye for details
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
- Experience in working with cross-functional team
- High level of energy, drive and integrity
