Due to an internal move, we are looking for the Managing Director, SEA.Job DescriptionThe Managing Director, SEA is responsible for expansion of their Southeast Asia business and be the key point of contact for the board in Germany. Our client supply roofs and facades for the building industry, often for large and iconic projects. Most clients are general contractors or heads of construction departments of property developers or commercial organizations. The product is generally utilized for its unique performance features as well as to iconize a building.Reporting to the global headquarters in Germany, this role is responsible for:Increasing business in line with the corporate growth strategy à increase sales including new areas to take on, to overachieve on the budget.Ensuring profitability of each entity in your assigned region.Conduct reviews to identify major risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.Develop and improve processes to execute tenders, designs, and projects more efficiently.Present to and consult with senior management on business trends and competitor analysis.Manage the operation teams including designers, project managers and installation supervisors.Own the P&L for SEA, HK markets.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in mechanical, civil engineering or a relevant technical backgroundHave excellent relationships with general contractors, heads of construction departments of developers etc.Experience in managing project managers, installation supervisors and design teams besides revenue generating teams.Ability to develop a market penetration strategy derived from the global corporate growth strategy.Experience with high-end cladding systems - preferably glass or similar would be preferred.Expertise in managing a regional P&L with teams across the region.Strong communication skills and a creative mindset.What's on OfferOur client, a profitable private firm, has a strong culture of hiring and grooming individuals with a strong commercial acumen.
