In this leadership role, we are looking for someone to manage a group of high-profile financial sponsors and expand our client's investment banking practice in Southeast Asia region. This is a pivotal leadership role for a professional with proven transaction execution experience, and a passion for building teams and businesses.To be successful in this role, you should thrive in a setup where you:Originate and lead complex M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions.Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, private equity firms, and institutional investors.Drive business development efforts and identify new revenue opportunities.Mentor and lead junior bankers, fostering a high-performance culture.Represent the firm externally at industry events and in media engagements.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape strategic direction and growth initiatives.The Successful ApplicantTo be a qualified applicant, you have:MBA or Masters in Finance, Economics or another relevant discipline.More than fifteen years in investment banking, with a strong track record in deal-making and client management, with at least ten years in SEA markets.Strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial modeling, negotiation, and communication skills.Deep sector expertise in one or more verticals (e.g., financial services, fintech, technology, consumer, industrials).Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.Strong network of corporate and financial sponsor relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.Flexibility to travel.What's on OfferOur client operates with a lean team of less than twenty bankers and are looking for a leader who is entrepreneurial and can create direct impact in coaching junior bankers.
