The MD will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the overall success and growth of the market. This role requires a seasoned executive with a proven track record in the restaurant industry, strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.
  • Identify new market opportunities, franchise partners, trends, and consumer preferences.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, and operational excellence across your market.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Optimize operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Financial Management: manage the annual budget, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve financial targets.
  • Team Leadership & Development: recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing mid-management team capable of achieving the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and empowerment..
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with the group leadership team to provide regular updates on business performance, opportunities, and challenges.

The Successful Applicant

  • MBA, or Degree in Business, Engineering or Finance from a reputable university.
  • Five or more years executive leadership experience in the restaurant industry, with a proven track record of driving growth.
  • Strong understanding of QSR market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong experience in leading store development, franchise development in emerging markets.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
