Job Description

  • Oversee and grow assigned customer accounts while implementing effective commercial strategies that align with the company's goals.
  • Engage actively with customers and internal teams through scheduled Quarterly Business Reviews and face-to-face meetings, ensuring smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Track the progress of customer accounts and identify new opportunities for growth, in line with the company's overall strategy.
  • Stay updated on customer needs and market trends to generate valuable market intelligence for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage high-profile accounts that require headquarters-level attention
  • Develop both long-term and short-term strategies to drive account performance effectively.
  • Contribute actively to tender management, contract reviews, data compilation, and relevant workshops or projects.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and ownership for managed accounts.
  • Serve as Acting Deputy in the absence of the Senior Manager, providing support when needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's degree in Maritime, Business, Logistics, or a relevant field.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or the logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated success in business growth and account development.
  • In-depth understanding of international shipping regulations.
  • Exceptional customer management skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), CRM systems, and others.
