It focuses on designing, building, owning, and maintaining the foundational network elements that enable the seamless transmission of data across the nation.

Job Description

  • Deliver the project through to post-live support in accordance with the agreed Scope of Work.
  • Ensure the alignment of the new OSS/BSS and GIS with the systems that will be retained post-live.
  • Partner with the SI and internal/external stakeholders in the project planning, communication, design, implementation, resourcing, testing activities (Infra, ST, SIT, UAT), data migration and deployment activities leading to production go-live.
  • Partner with business users and IT SMEs to deliver the project within scope, cost, time and quality requirements.
  • Align the team and identify the associated inter-dependencies and risks and work to resolve these.
  • Monitor and track the status of work streams, key issues and costs.
  • Input into project dashboards and reports for updates on project status and issues.
  • Track and update resources plan, provide input for resource requirements.
  • Review and ensure that vendor deliverables meet contractual obligations.
  • Ensure the timely completion of project activities and deliverables, timely escalation of open issues, closure of all issues and the sign-offs from the respective stakeholders.
  • Manage the changes to the project scope, schedule and cost.
  • Facilitate Change Request Process with the SI.
  • Deliver the project outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent.
  • Atleast 10 years of relevant working experience with atleast 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management.
  • Have experience in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, data migration, training, deployment and production cutover.
  • Technical knowledge in the areas of software implementation, telecommunications, and telecommunications operations.
  • Experience in implementing OSS/BSS and external systems integrations.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
