About Our Client

My client is a listed energy company with multiple business categories under their portfolio. They have established a global footprint, billion dollar yearly turnover and are looking for a M&A Manager to develop growth strategies and generate new pipeline for the group.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior VP of the Mergers & Acquisition Team, you will:

  • Develop complex financial models to value acquisition targets, perform analysis to assess the feasibility
  • Business partner with leadership team to strategise and initiate business plans, identify potential acquisition targets and generate new pipelines
  • Responsible for due diligence process, prepare investment proposal, coordinate discussions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform research and analysis of market, understand competitive landscape and kept abreast of shifts within the industry
  • Involvement in high value, regional negotiations for both buy side and sell side deals

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree graduate in Banking/Finance/Accounting with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in Corporate Finance or M&A capacity. CFA qualification highly advantageous.
  • Hands on experience with end to end M&A deal process, both buy-side and sell-side
  • Strong analytical skills and computer literacy, proficient in developing financial models
  • Resilient personality with the tenacity to excel, able to work with tight timelines
  • Collaborative working style, confident liaising with stakeholders independently
  • Excellent verbal, communication and presentation skills
