About Our Client

A well-known luxury brand for high-end products, focusing on lifestyle-selling solution around various product categories while emphasizing on strong client-centric stores which explains the service and quality the brand has been providing. They are looking for an experienced Store Manager to manage a well-established store consisting of strong team leaders and advisors, be a brand ambassador in taking ownership to lead and coach the team, manage the P&L of the store, build client relationships, proactively foster achievement of sales goals, and ensure the highest level of client experience is delivered.

Job Description

  • Initiate, develop business, and drive business strategy while managing the profit and loss of the store.
  • Establish client-centric mindset on the floor ensuring highest level of customer experience and leverage on clienteling tools to build loyal clientele.
  • Drive and foster exceptional client relationships, be strategic and agile in ensuring strong sales performance and the epitome of client service is delivered.
  • Develop managers who ensure brand's promise to every client is delivered by managing and driving high performing and commercially astute team.
  • Recruit and build highly motivated teams, progress them to the next level, and secure succession plans.
  • Maximize the potential of all product categories and foster synergies between them and be aware of market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Understand the business and local market to suggest actions and recommendations, being the brand's ambassador in Malaysia and being involved in relevant local activities.
  • Identify potential areas of improvement and lead by example on the floor in understanding clients' needs.
  • Be a strong visible presence in the store and provide consistent and qualitative feedback to the team to coach direct reports in managing their own teams.
  • In charge of store controllable expenses, supervise loss, asset protection, and risk and inventory management.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least around 10 years of working experience in retail industry. (Luxury brand exposure will be an added advantage.)
  • Having experience working in Malaysia will be a strong added advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and learning agility.
  • Strong people management skills with the experience of leading a team of at least 30-50.
  • Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills including facilitation and presentation.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and numerically driven.
  • Good motivator who has strong influencing skills and can lead by example.
