About Our Client
Our Client is a sustainable solutions company with a global presence and positive growth outlook. Due to the expansion in the business, there is a newly created opportunity for a Legal Counsel to start up and lead the legal function.
Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, you will provide commercially focused legal advice to a wide range of stakeholders to support business growth. This includes being involved in commercial negotiations and implementing legal processes and policies for the organisation. You will also ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and provide advice on other corporate legal matters. As a key business partner to the senior management, you will also advice on M&A and banking matters as they arise.
The Successful Applicant
You are a qualified lawyer with at least 4 PQE gained in private practice and/or in an inhouse capacity. A self-starter, you are confident, independent, commercially focused and are passionate about sustainability. You enjoy a fast-paced and high growth environment and are equipped with excellent interpersonal skills to influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
