Job Description

  • Serve as the senior legal adviser to APAC and ASEAN leadership teams
  • Provide strategic counsel on regulatory, compliance and governance matters
  • Lead complex commercial contract negotiations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Oversee dispute resolution and litigation strategy with internal and external counsel
  • Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing regional legal team
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Tax, IT, HR and Commercial teams
  • Contribute to regional legal strategy in a dynamic regulatory environment

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Director should have:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualified lawyer with over 15 years of relevant post‑qualification experience
  • Proven experience advising senior executives in large, matrixed organisations
  • Strong background in commercial contracts, regulatory matters and disputes
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including mentoring senior lawyers
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and balance legal risk with business objectives
  • Track record of operating effectively in fast‑changing, complex environments
