About Our Client
Our client is a global venture capital firm that has a strong track record of identifying potential in early stage start-ups that have grown to be very successful. They are looking to expand operations in Singapore and are hiring a Legal Counsel.
Job Description
This role will be based in Singapore and reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. You will provide legal advice in funds and investments deals and general commercial matters for the full cycle from seed rounds to IPOs. There may also be adhoc M&A transactions. You will also liaise with external counsels where necessary and assist with closing deals.
The Successful Applicant
You possess a Master of Laws from a leading university and have at least 2 years of experience in investment, funds or IPO work. Being called to the US Bar or having experience with US IPOs will be advantageous. The ideal candidate should be able to independently handle multiple projects and have strong communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders and manage their interests.
