About Our Client
Our client is an integrated subsea service provider to the offshore oil and gas industry. Offering a cost competitive model for the SURF, Subsea construction and IRM. Currently dominating the South East Asia market and worldwide offering of their differentiating services, combined with their new specialised fleet.
As Sole Counsel you will provide business-oriented solutions and corporate and commercial advice to management and the business to facilitate the achievement of business goals and objectives. Your scope will include contractual and commercial risk management, drafting and reviewing agreements, supporting the negotiation process when it comes to bids and tenders, as well as providing general legal advice. You will provide legal support to company or joint venture operations, including strategies for commercial arrangements, business development and regulatory engagements and contracting.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate has an LLB , with 5-8 years of working experience in legal roles with 2 years sub sea/ oil & gas expedience. You have a can do attitude, confident in contract drafting and review and want to be part of a small and dynamic team then please apply.
1. Experience in offshore oil and gas contracting environment.
2. Understanding of insurance and liability profiles for oil and gas industry to assist in evaluating and development of the insurance program for the company.
3. Experience in corporate legal matters.
4. Understanding of marine law (while not essential - will be good to have).
