About Our Client

Our Client is a leading investment bank with a diverse portfolio of investments across various industries. As a result of the business growth and expansion in portfolio, they are looking for a Legal Counsel to be part of team based in Singapore supporting the global operations.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be a key business partner in providing legal and regulatory compliance advice to support business objectives and growth. This includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating on legal contracts, identifying and resolving legal issues and considerations that arise while building meaningful working relationships with internal stakeholders. You will also participate in regional process improvement initiatives and other corporate transactions and litigation matters when they arise.

The Successful Applicant

You are a Singapore qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE gained in a top local or international law firm and/or global financial institution. You possess strong technical knowledge of the regional banking and finance industry and the regulatory requirements. A hands on and proactive individual, you possess strong communication and interpersonal skills that will be essential in interacting with stakeholders from diverse cultures and background.
